Photo & Document Resizer
Fit photos and scans for Absher, Qiwa and Muqeem.
When to use it
Use it when a Saudi government or university portal rejects your upload because it is too large or the wrong shape: personal photos for Absher and Iqama services, passport and visa photos, or scans of contracts, certificates and IDs for Qiwa, Muqeem, Ejar and admissions portals. Portals change their limits, so these presets reflect common requirements rather than official specifications; if the upload screen shows a different size, choose Custom.
Examples
- A 4 MB iPhone photo becomes a 480 × 640 px JPG well under 1 MB, cropped around your face.
- A 6 MB phone scan of a degree certificate is resized and compressed to fit under 1 MB while the text stays readable.
- An iPhone HEIC photo is accepted directly; it is converted to JPG before resizing.
Common mistakes
- Using a photo with a coloured or patterned background; most Saudi services require plain white.
- Compressing a text-heavy document so hard that stamps and small print become unreadable; use the 1 MB or 2 MB preset for those.
- Assuming every portal has the same limit; check the size shown next to the upload button.
